作者的话：

　　麻风病的历史已有千年。一直以来都是不治之症，可以说当时一旦提出“麻风病”这几个字的时候，人们都会心惊胆寒。那是因为我们大家对麻风病的了解还不够，对他的认识还有所偏激。我们通过了解、咨询，对麻风病有了不同的认识。并且在一个麻风病村开始了我们的拍摄。我们只想通过我们的所见所闻，让世人认识麻风病现在已经可以治愈，不再是不治之症。让世人不要再用异样的眼光看他们，能够给他们更多的温暖和帮助。

  Being an incurable disease all the time, leprosy has existed nearly a thousand years. The reason why People is always scared on hearing the words “leprosy” is that we still know little about the disease and have some extreme ideas on it. We had had a different understand on the leprosy through investigation and consultation and started our shoot in a leprosy village. Through narrating all that we saw and heard, we just desire to have people know that leprosy is no longer an incurable disease, and have people not discriminate lazars any more but offer them more warmth and help.
